Chef De Cuisine

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary operations of a luxury boutique hotel in Nicosia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented culinary professional to take ownership of a signature restaurant, create exceptional dining experiences, and develop innovative menus inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.

The ideal candidate will combine culinary creativity with strong leadership, operational excellence, and a genuine passion for high-quality gastronomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Kitchen Leadership: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Menu Development: Design innovative Mediterranean-inspired menus using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
• Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team, creating a positive and professional kitchen environment.
• Quality Control: Maintain outstanding culinary standards across all food preparation and service.
• Cost Management: Monitor food costs, control inventory, minimize waste, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Food Safety: Ensure full compliance with HACCP regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Guest Experience: Deliver memorable dining experiences through creativity, attention to detail, and culinary excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or Executive Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and contemporary culinary techniques.
• Creative approach to menu development and food presentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of food cost control, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform effectively in a demanding, high-quality culinary environment.
• Passion for gastronomy, innovation, and continuous improvement.
