Maintenance Manager

The Ixian Grand & All Suites, a 5-star adults-only beachfront resort in Rhodes, is part of a hospitality group that also operates Oktober Downtown Boutique Hotel and Angela Downtown Hotel in the city of Rhodes.

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance standards of all group properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of all technical, technological and mechanical installations and equipment of the hotel
• Plan and coordinate the daily operations of the Maintenance Department
• Actively participate in the recruitment and staffing process of the department
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and productivity of the maintenance team
• Propose preventive maintenance actions and improvements to ensure optimal operation and to minimize technical failures

Reports to: 

• General Manager

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree from a Technical School in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in large-scale hotel units
• Strong knowledge of pump rooms, engine rooms and modern technical systems
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and installations
• General technical knowledge with construction and repair skills
• Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Professionalism, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and situational awareness
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality standards
