Περιγραφή

Athens Riviera Forum is an independent, non-profit organization committed to advancing multistakeholder dialogue and engagement at the intersections of investment, business, and diplomacy. With a focus on international economic cooperation, sustainable growth, and investment, the Forum convenes leaders across the spheres of investment, government, business, and institutions to foster structured dialogue and high-impact partnerships. Its flagship initiative, the Annual Athens Riviera Summit, is a three-day international economic forum, uniting ministers, CEOs, investors, and decision-makers across the globe. We are seeking a Programme & Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end preparation and execution of the Athens Riviera Summit.

Acting effectively as the Event Manager of the Summit, this role is responsible for coordinating all operational, logistical, and cross-functional aspects required for the successful delivery of a high-level international forum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall planning and execution of the Athens Riviera Summit, ensuring alignment across operations and communications
  • Develop and manage the full project lifecycle, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination across all involved teams
  • Oversee logistical aspects of the Summit, including venue coordination, supplier management, production requirements, and on-site execution
  • Act as the central coordination point across communications, social media, partnerships, and digital functions, ensuring consistency and timely delivery
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities in collaboration with the Communications team, aligning campaigns with key milestones
  • Manage registration processes, delegate communication, and overall participant experience
  • Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors, partners, and institutional stakeholders, ensuring professionalism and follow-through
  • Coordinate with speakers and contributors to support the delivery of the Summit programme
  • Ensure effective internal coordination, tracking progress across all workstreams and maintaining clarity of roles and responsibilities
  • Oversee on-site operations during the Summit, ensuring smooth execution across all elements

Profile

  • Strong project and event management experience, with the ability to oversee complex, multi-layered initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and parallel workflows under tight deadlines
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience in event management, consulting, or similar environments is considered an asset
