Control Room Operator

Adecco HR, a global leader in Human Resource services and ISO 9001:2015 certified in Greece for its recruitment, selection and temporary placement services, is seeking on behalf of its client, a leader in the Renewable Energy sector, a dynamic professional to cover the following position:

Control Room Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all PV equipment (inverters, strings, sensors, etc.) via remote monitoring systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Analyze the daily performance of PV plants following predefined procedures.
• Identify, investigate (first level), record and follow up on technical failures or underperformance in a structured and timely manner.
• Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to register, update and close incidents.
• Maximize the capabilities of existing monitoring tools and contribute to ongoing improvements in monitoring processes, workflows and procedures.
• Cooperate closely with local EMEA O&M teams.

Candidate Profile

• Degree (AEI or TEI) in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Mining, Chemical) or Physics.
• Basic understanding of electricity and energy production.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring PV plants or other power‑generating facilities (highly beneficial).
• Experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of power plants is considered a strong asset.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting internationally.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken & written).
• Responsible, reliable and structured work approach.
• Solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to work in rotating daytime shifts throughout the year.
