Senior Tax Accountant

As a senior tax accountant of the Finance team in this company, you will take ownership of the company's accounting and tax operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all financial processes.

Responsibilities of senior tax accountant :

• Manage all accounting operations in compliance with accounting principles;
• Handle all tax matters of the company, including preparation and submission of tax returns and monitoring of myData procedures;
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures;
• Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and other legal requirements;
• Assist with tax audits and manage ad-hoc tax issues with external consultants;
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
• Analyze financial information and summarize the company's financial status

Requirements of the senior tax accountant :

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; experience in Tax or Banking is a strong advantage;
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA) is considered an asset;
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Extensive knowledge of tax issues and financial regulatory reporting;
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive attitude;
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills;
• Ability to adapt effectively in an international environment;
• Highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
