Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to ensure seamless operational execution across the organization, delivering excellent customer service, efficient logistics management, and accurate demand forecasting while supporting business scalability and continuous improvement.
Specifically:
- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end operational activities, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Ensure high standards of customer service by managing service processes, resolving issues efficiently, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Lead demand forecasting and operational planning activities, ensuring alignment between inventory availability and sales requirements.
- Manage and optimize logistics processes in collaboration with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation partners.
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Support process standardization and scalability initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
- Coordinate communication between Makita Hellas and Headquarters, responding to operational and business-related research requests.
- Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests from senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Operations Management role, ideally within a trading, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of customer service operations and the ability to design and implement effective service processes.
- Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Solid logistics background, including warehousing, transportation coordination, and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
