Quality Assurance Officer - Interim support (Asylum)
The Quality Assurance Officer - interim support (Asylum) works under the supervision of EUAA in performing some or all of the following tasks focusing on EUAA Greece Operations, as well as other EUAA Operations as per EUAA request:
- Perform in depth analysis of statistical data, indicators, results and reports regarding identified focused areas of EUAA operations, mainly in the area of asylum
- Review on a regular basis anonymised case files from identified focused areas of EUAA operations
- Perform quality review of files according to pre-identified criteria
- Perform shadowing activities of Caseworkers and Team Leaders
- Support in the compilation of overall lists for internal needs or for different stakeholders
- Keep updated on and maintain excellent understanding of all instructions from SOPs, quality feedback and other provided guidance
- Support in the implementation of SOPs, quality feedback and guidance and ensure their proper implementation
- If requested, support the relocation exercise, in particular regarding quality review of files
- If requested, support on coaching exercises general or thematic ones
- Support the organisation and facilitation of thematic workshops in support to Operations
- Draft working documents, including concept notes, briefing notes, speaking points, technical documents, reports and other documents and podcasts
- Contribute to the development of operational tools and good practices to Operations
- Support EUAA operations by giving technical advice, quality reviews, coaching, assessments, etc. as required, in areas related to asylum and vulnerability
- Where needed, participate in missions, external meetings and conferences and activities related to asylum processes and vulnerable groups
- Maintain/update/input data in/extract data from Excel files
- Attend regular or ad hoc meetings, as requested
- Participate in trainings organised by EUAA or other stakeholders, as requested
- Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges
- Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile
- Asylum Procedures Officer - Interim support (Quality and Procedures)
- The Asylum Procedures Officer - interim support (Quality and Procedures) works under the supervision of EUAA and the Greek authorities in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Work as a member of a team of experts on reviewing cases of international protection, following the relevant detailed Standard Operating Procedures and EU asylum acquis
- Participate in quality meetings at central level and with the field, provide guidance and responses to questions on asylum processes
- Provide guidance to colleagues in the field on conducting interviews/issuing decisions on cases of international protection
- Contribute to drafting responses to queries from colleagues in the field and/or other documents providing guidance
- Liaise with other Greek and international stakeholders for the implementation of his/her tasks
- Keep updated, maintain excellent understanding of and implement all developments in guidance, quality feedback, SOPs
- Support on coaching exercises general or thematic ones
- Support on shadowing activities
- Deliver trainings and presentations and organize workshops
- Participate in trainings, workshops and meetings
- Attend regular meetings with EUAA at local level
- Participate in trainings organised by EUAA or other stakeholders, locally or in other locations, when requested
- Provide to EUAA regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services, challenges faced and best practices observed
- Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile
