We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist, who will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and components.
The responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist include:
- Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and indirect supplies to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Manage contracts.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategies for sourcing optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning, and quality teams to align purchasing with operational needs.
- Prepare reports, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related technical field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- 1-3 years of experience in similar technical field
- Results driven and solutions-oriented approach
- Highly communicative
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Team player and solid interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment & manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greek & English language
