safeguards this system, ensuring that every purchase — from breakfast
ingredients to bespoke linens — reflects Zélia’s standards of quality, timing,
and integrity.
Role Overview
The Procurement
Officer oversees all purchasing and storekeeping operations of Zélia Halkidiki.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Controller, this role ensures efficient,
transparent, and cost-effective procurement processes, manages supplier
relationships, supervises inventory flow, and leads the Store & Logistics
Assistant. Daily collaboration with Finance, Culinary, Operations, and
Technical Services ensures seamless supply across the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage
procurement for all departments — Culinary, Housekeeping, Technical, Spa, and
Administration.
- Review purchase requests, issue and follow up on Purchase Orders through
Materials Control.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain approved vendor
lists.
- Oversee goods receiving, storage, and stock issuance; ensure quality and
accuracy.
- Maintain inventory control and cost tracking in coordination with Finance and
Culinary teams.
- Supervise logistics, transfers, and documentation between central stores and
outlets.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, sustainability standards, and
procurement ethics.
- Generate weekly procurement and stock reports for the Chief Financial
Controller.
