Buyer (Supply Chain Management) in Drama, Greece

Scope:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Drama, Greece. The position involves procuring materials to support our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Source and qualify new vendors; assist in contract finalization
• Support tenders and negotiations for materials, aiming for cost efficiency
• Maintain vendor relationships and assist in managing the vendor portfolio
• Coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Production on material requirements and product changes
• Assist with Material Requirement Planning in SAP
• Help plan and monitor inventory levels
• Place and track purchase orders, ensuring timely fulfillment
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Sales on material availability

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems
• Experience in international business and contract management is beneficial
• Understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management System
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good command of English (oral and written)
• Ability to travel occasionally
