Role Overview

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring accurate recording of all hotel financial transactions, and providing high-quality guest service. This role combines front office responsibilities with accounting functions and is essential to the smooth operation of the hotel during night shifts.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise front desk operations throughout the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Perform end-of-day closing procedures, reconcile accounts, and prepare accurate financial reports.
• Provide professional and courteous service to guests checking in or out during overnight hours, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.
• Process late check-ins and early check-outs efficiently, ensuring guest needs and requests are addressed.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, providing accurate information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing phone calls or emails as required.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and assist guests effectively.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to maintain a safe, clean, and operational hotel environment overnight.
• Ensure completion of all night shift responsibilities in accordance with hotel standards before the end of the shift.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within 5-star hotels or high-volume luxury environments.
• Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent command of the English language; additional languages will be considered a strong asset.
• Proficiency in PMS systems and Microsoft Office.
