On behalf of our client, a luxury resort in Folegandros, WorknGrow is currently seeking a Financial Controller for the upcoming season.
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to oversee the financial operations of the resort. During the operational period, the position will be based in Folegandros, while during the off-season, the role will be based in Athens. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing all financial operations of the resort, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the resort
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Ensure effective cost control across all departments
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards
- Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and external partners
- Develop and maintain internal controls and financial procedures
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant (hospitality experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
