Assortment & Buying Manager

Life is For Fun Greece IKE, master franchisee of MINISO in Greece, one of the world’s leading lifestyle brands with a presence in more than 110 countries and a network of over 7,500 stores worldwide, is looking for an experience Assortment & Buying Manager to oversee the selection, planning and optimization of MINISO’s product assortment in the Greek market.

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities and a solid understanding of retail buying, assortment planning and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize MINISO’s product assortment across categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer demand and sales performance.
• Select products from MINISO’s international catalog, evaluating their commercial potential and suitability for the Greek market.
• Plan and manage purchasing activities, including order quantities, order placement and replenishment planning, based on sales forecasts, seasonality and inventory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, profitability, stock turnover and key commercial KPIs to support data-driven purchasing and assortment decisions.
• Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities to optimize the assortment, including product expansion, discontinuation and replenishment.
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability, ensuring an optimal balance between stock efficiency and sales demand while minimizing overstock and stock shortages.
• Prepare and analyze sales forecasts, purchasing budgets and inventory reports to support effective commercial planning and decision – making.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient purchasing processes and product availability across sales channels.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administrationor related field.
• Proven experience in buying, assortment management, category management or merchandise planning, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, evaluate product profitability and translate insights into commercial decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Data Analysis and Microsoft Excel, including forecasting and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail operations, purchasing planning and inventory optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and command of English, both written and spoken.
