The responsibilities of the Fixed Assets Accountant are:
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (acquisitions, depreciations, write-offs) ensuring compliance with Greek Accounting Standards.
- Monitor and reconcile myDATA transmissions related to assets and depreciation.
- Assist in the classification of expenses by understanding the business nature of the cost.
- Support the month-end closing process and prepare schedules for external audits.
- Participate in physical asset counts and inventory controls.
The qualifications of the Fixed Assets Accountant are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an Accounting or Audit firm.
- Solid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP) and Tax Legislation.
- Good understanding of business operations to assess asset capitalization.
- Fluency in English and strong MS Excel skills.
