Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Channel Management
- Develop and implement social media strategy, aligned with brand, recruitment and research priorities.
- Maintain a bilingual editorial calendar with clear audiences, objectives, accessible captions and subtitles.
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and relevant emerging platforms, including publishing, community management and social listening.
- Monitor reputation, handle enquiries appropriately and escalate sensitive issues.
Content Creation
- Independently develop concepts, scripts and publication-ready content, managing filming, photography, lighting, audio, editing and subtitling.
- Produce original videos, reels, stories, interviews and live updates; commission content and brief internal teams, agencies and creators where required.
- Write and edit excellent Greek and English copy, adapting tone and format to each audience.
- Produce and host a podcast/vodcast, coordinating guests, recording, post-production and promotion.
- Manage rights clearance, consent, releases and approvals; guide faculty, staff and student/alumni ambassadors on brand voice and moderation.
Project Coordination and Operations
- Organise briefs, deliverables, responsibilities, dependencies, approvals and deadlines, including work delivered by others.
- Coordinate stakeholders and suppliers, follow up on inputs, flag risks and resolve delivery issues.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and communicate tactfully across seniority levels, recognising stakeholder dynamics and knowing when to seek guidance.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, platform advertising policies and University standards.
- Coordinate vendor/creator contracts, scopes and invoices; maintain organised assets and equipment.
Measurement and Wider Support
- Deliver quarterly reports with insights, benchmarking and recommendations, tracking reach, engagement and conversions, including event registrations.
- Update website News and Events.
- Recommend relevant trends, tools and tests; support wider marketing activities and other relevant duties as assigned.
