We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely fulfillment of financial and tax obligations. This position is suitable for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in double-entry accounting, capable of working independently while managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Category C (double-entry) accounting books
- Record, review, and archive accounting transactions (purchases, sales, expenses, cash and bank transactions)
- Perform myDATA reconciliations and compliance checks
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including banks, customers, and suppliers
- Prepare and submit tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, VIES)
- Support the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports
- Liaise with external partners (accountants, auditors, tax consultants)
- Monitor and apply updates in tax and labor legislation
- Contribute to the improvement of internal accounting procedures and controls
