The Greek-owned group of companies STELMA T.S.A. is looking for an Engineer to join its team on
a long-term project at the largest newbuilding cruise and military vessel
shipyard in France and in North Greece.
The Engineer will be part of the Technical
Projects Department, contributing to the supervision and coordination of
ongoing works within long-term shipyard projects.
Duties:
- Perform the duties of a Quality Control
Engineer (Perform visual inspections that can involve the use of
equipment)
- Perform duties as assigned by the Site
manager / shipyard representative
- Visit worksites, QA checks on work in
progress
- Perform blast and coating inspections as
needed
- Deliver paperwork and complete
forms/reports as required
- Establish priorities to meet
deadlines(inspections)
- Meet productivity goals and quality
standards
- Ability to read and understand drawings
and specifications

- This position requires working in areas
with the following characteristics: Ability move through restricted
openings, confined spaces, crouching (lowering height by bending knees),
and kneeling for long period of time in some cases
