We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Pastry Chef to join a dynamic kitchen team in a well-established hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate pastry professional who takes pride in quality, creativity, and consistency.
The Role
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for managing the pastry section and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, in-house prepared products such as scones, cakes, breads, and other baked goods for both the restaurant and bar.
You will also:
- Oversee the pastry station and maintain exceptional presentation and quality standards
- Cover breakfast/brunch service (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Food & Beverage team on new menu ideas and pastry offerings
- Contribute to seasonal and creative menu development
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a hotel environment
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in busy service periods
- Flexible, proactive, and able to use initiative
- Full understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Knowledge and adherence to HACCP regulations
