The
Greek-owned group of companies STELMA T.S.A. is looking for an Engineer (Afternoon Shift) to join its team on a long-term project at the largest
newbuilding cruise and military vessel shipyard in France and in North Greece.
The
Engineer will be part of the Technical Projects Department, contributing to the
supervision and coordination of ongoing works within long-term shipyard
projects.
Duties:
- Working Hours from 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
(Monday to Friday)
- Perform
primarily Quality Assurance Engineer duties, including regular site visits and
QA checks on work in progress to ensure compliance with project specifications
and standards
- Perform
Quality Control Engineer duties on a secondary basis, including visual
inspections and checks that may involve the use of measuring and inspection
equipment
- Carry
out tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Site Manager and/or the
shipyard representative
- Ensure
full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies applicable to
the shipyard and project
- Prepare,
deliver, and maintain required documentation, reports, and inspection records
in accordance with company and shipyard procedures
- Establish
priorities in order to meet project deadlines (inspections / deliveries to the
client)
- Meet
defined productivity targets and quality standards.
- Read,
understand, and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work
instructions.
