Bartender / Barista
to be part of our team at our luxurious 5* boutique hotel in Oia, Santorini for the 2026 season.
Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in accordance with 5-star hotel standards. The role includes preparing and serving high-quality cocktails, beverages, and coffees, providing personalized guest service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience through professionalism, product knowledge, and attention to detail.
Main responsibilities:
- Present bar menu.
- Excellent knowledge of the food, wine and champagne list, cocktail and beverage menus.
- Mixing drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages in compliance with bar recipes.
- Maintain high standards of service by providing an efficient and friendly customer-service.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Ensure that the work area is always clean and tidy according to Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain proper knowledge of bar supplies and stock.
- Keep post area and supply storage areas clean (refrigerators).
- Maintain accurate stock levels and keep waste to a minimum.
- Excellent coffee making skills, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies (for barista)
Main qualifications/skills:
- Friendly, communicative and enthusiastic personality.
- Experience of 2-3 years minimum as Bartender /barman / barista.
- Special knowledge on the subject will be considered and asset (such as mixology and flair bartending).
- Bartending degree and seminars will be considered as additional qualifications.
- Excellent knowledge of English language.
- Sales oriented knowledge.
- Ability to work in an organized manner -attentive to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent service.
- Relevant experience within a restaurant/bar.
- Knowledge of a third language will be considered an asset.
