Mechanical Engineer (R&D Department)

American Motors Pilalis SA is a cold storage and freezer door manufacturer located in northern Athens. Following our continuous development, we are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D Department.

As a mechanical engineer you will participate in the full product development cycles and be responsible for designing of parts and full assemblies, from concepting to prototyping, including manufacturing drawings and relevant documentation.

Your profile:

• Organizational Skills
• Excellent teamwork skills and effective communication capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with the members of the R&D department and other departments
• Brainstorming, ability to solve problems
• Fulfilled military obligations (Males)

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience
• Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD
• Knowledge of 2D CAD Drawing (AutoCAD, DraftSight etc.)
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
• Excellent use of office suites like MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of Solidworks PDM
• FEA Simulation
• Sheet metal design and manufacturing methods
• Ability to work under pressure
