Childcare Manager
Location: Ouranoupolis, Halkidiki
Position Summary
The Childcare
Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the
Children’s Club, ensuring that all children are cared for in a safe, secure,
and nurturing environment. The role involves delivering an engaging, fun, and
age-appropriate programme of activities while maintaining the highest standards
of childcare, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure guests and their
children receive the highest standard of childcare at all times, maintaining a
safe, clean, hygienic, and stimulating environment
- Organise, manage and oversee
the Kids Club for children aged 4 years and above
- Lead, supervise and support a
team of nannies/childcare staff, adopting a flexible approach and stepping in
when required
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a
varied programme of indoor and outdoor activities suitable for different age
groups
- Organise and supervise weekly
off-site excursions and resort-based activities
- Coordinate evening
entertainment and special events during peak weeks (July and August)
- Oversee and supervise children
during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and calm environment
- Prepare and manage staff rotas,
daily cleaning schedules and work plans for the childcare team
- Ensure all policies, procedures
and safeguarding standards are implemented and followed at all times
- Maintain accurate daily
records, accident and incident reports and ensure all required documentation is
up to date
- Work closely with the hotel
management team and attend weekly management meetings as required
- Act as a key point of contact
for parents, addressing queries, feedback and any concerns in a professional
and reassuring manner
- Ensure full compliance with
health and safety regulations, childcare legislation and company standards
Requirements:
- Pre-school teaching
qualification, Degree / Diploma in early childhood education / Degree in
Education
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience
in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of English
language; a second language (German, French or Russian) will be highly
desirable
- Love and ability to work with
children aged between 4 months upwards
- Pleasant, outgoing, warm, caring
and pro-active personality
- Leadership skills – ability to
lead a well-motivated childcare team
- Excellent guest relations and
interpersonal skills
- EU Passport, ID or dual
nationality
