Let’s talk about the role

Our company is looking for an Accounting & Finance Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will actively participate in the daily financial operations of the company, supporting accounting procedures, monitoring financial transactions, and contributing to the smooth operation of invoicing, reconciliations, and collections processes.

Responsibilities

🧾 Recording accounting documents and financial transactions in the ERP system (SoftOne)

💼 Issuing customer invoices and monitoring related transactions

🔍 Reconciling customer and supplier balances

🏦 Performing bank account reconciliations

💳 Monitoring incoming payments and outgoing payments

📞 Communicating with customers regarding payment follow-ups and outstanding balances

📊 Monitoring payment terms and credit balances

☁️ Reviewing and managing document submissions through the myData platform

📑 Supporting daily accounting operations and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial processes

Required Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

📆 At least 4 years of experience in an organized accounting department with double-entry bookkeeping

📚 Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and bookkeeping procedures

💻 Knowledge of VAT, income tax regulations and myData

📈 Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

🧾 Experience with ERP systems (experience with SoftOne will be considered an asset)

🗨️ Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
