The Development Associate supports fundraising in Greece to surpass the School’s annual philanthropic goals and goals of special campaigns. This includes coordinating stewardship for gifts received in Greece from private sources, as well as supporting the cultivation and solicitation process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recording and maintaining donor and constituent data in the institution’s development data base program; the correct and timely processing of contributions received in Greece in compliance with Greek law governing donations to non-profit organizations; and writing, generating and recording acknowledgement letters in a timely manner for all gifts received in Greece. The DA produces regular financial reports on gifts and campaigns as needed. He/she secures and schedules meetings with donors, prospective donors and philanthropic organizations as requested by his/her supervising officer, and supports other development functions in Greece as needed.
