Job PurposeThe aim of this position is to ensure the compliance to all ISO’s Standard the company is, or aim to be, certified. This Position also ensures that agencies WW are in line with internal policies and international regulations pertaining the logistics, the transport and handling of cargoes.
The ISO officer coordinates the quality requirements with the agencies, remotely and on site and audits them together with the DNV auditor.
The second objective is to standardize as far as possible, all MSC policies, procedures and systems to increase efficiency and to achieve as such a cost reduction.
Key Accountabilities- ISO compliance for all company ISO ‘s Standards. Selection of methodology for storing and sharing WW good practices, process mapping and procedures - audit together with external certification companies, agencies and HQ
- Meet with Agencies’ MD and GVA executives to share good practice, and tailor the adoption of corrective actions to improve compliance with ISO standards
- Train GVA and WW offices on ISO policies and procedures
- Monitor error and accidents and take corrective actions on policy and procedures
