Company Description: Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort is a dynamic and innovative resort committed to excellence and growth. We are seeking a highly motivated IT assistant to support our IT team.

Job Type: Yearly

Job Role : The IT Assistant is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the hotel's computer systems and network infrastructure. They play a crucial role in ensuring that all technology-related aspects of the hotel run efficiently, thereby contributing to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Support: Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime.
  • System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the hotel's computer systems, including workstations, servers, and networking equipment. Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest software and security patches.
  • Network Management: Monitor and maintain the hotel's network infrastructure, ensuring it runs smoothly and securely. This includes managing Wi-Fi access points, switches, and routers.
  • Data Security: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data, such as guest information and financial records. Conduct regular backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
  • Software Installation: Install and configure software applications used in the hotel, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, and guest reservation systems.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Order and maintain equipment as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to assist hotel staff in resolving common issues.
  • Training: Provide training to hotel staff on the use of IT equipment and software, ensuring they can use technology effectively in their roles.
  • Emergency Response: Be on-call to address IT emergencies, such as system failures or security breaches, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years minimum experience on similar position.
  • Technical certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), can be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage work load using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multi task position.
  • High knowledge of Protel/CRS/PMS revenue management and MS office would be a plus.
  • Availability to work in shifts.
