Combat System Functional Integrator Engineer

Job Description

• Be in charge to adjust and ensure the application of the Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) process of the Hellenic frigate (FDI) Combat System
• Manage, plan, take care of any need of tools IVVQ activities
• Read and update, if necessary, tests and trials procedures
• Test the updated issue of software (new functionalities, non-regression),
• Investigate the technical defects, verifying the correction of bugs, the full conservation of the previous functionalities
• Perform Combat System tests (harbour tests and Sea trials) after checking functional and physical interface conditions and validate Client requirements
• Know the Combat System operational use, ability to conduct operational equipment settings
• Collaborate with other departments within the company
• Actively participate in definition of verification infrastructure
• Participate in team internal and cross-functional collaboration with design, software and hardware teams across multiple sites, to ensure a successful product delivery;

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering, ICT or any other related discipline
• Master’s degree will be considered a plus
• Experience as an Engineer with on-board equipment specialty
• Experience in system integration
• Experience in on-board equipment integration
• Microsoft office applications & Linux command
• Ability for navigation (sea trials)
• Greek: native language; English: fluent; French: nice to have but not mandatory
• Flexibility to travel in France for a period up to 18 months with intervals
