Imports/Exports Customer Service

As an Imports Exports customer service, your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Check for import cargo restrictions.
• Check all cargo loaded is manifested.
• Check shipments with open activities or missing updates.
• Check for mismatch on discharge or delivery ports.
• Check for mismatch next vessel/voyage discharge port.
• Issue and submit the export manifest to local authorities.
• Handle issues with Customs after calling port.
• Check with the Pre-arrival cell that all shipments are ready to be handed.
• Issue and submit the import manifest to local authorities.
• Control abandons processes.
• Issue amendments to the import manifest.
• Handle issues with Customs after calling port.

The position of Imports Exports customer service is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills:

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Accounting or Business
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position or in a data entry position
• Computer fully literate (Office and database management)
• Good communication skills
• ERP knowledge
• Able to prioritize activities and demands
• Very good knowledge of English (oral and written)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially of Excel
• Customer Oriented
