                                                            General Accountant

Job Description

·    Record accounting transactions in the accounting system SAP – General Ledger / Accounts Payables / Accounts Receivables.

·    Process electronic payments to suppliers, customers, tax authorities and other third parties.

·    Monitor bank accounts, cash balances and petty cash transactions.

·    Cheques monitoring.

·    Indemnifications payment.

·    Communication with policyholders / brokers, banks.

·    Tax related tasks – IPT/WHT/VAT/Social security/Freelance tax – declarations.

·    Account statements reconciliation / GL postings/provisions/internal controls.

·    Communication with banks (e.g. issuance of access codes / credentials).

·    Processing of legalization / compliance matters (Commercial Registry – GEMI, Tax Authority – TAXIS, Banks).

·    Administer contracts, service agreements, lease agreements and related payments.

Candidate Profile

·    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance  or relevant field.

·    At least 2 years of experience in relevant position.

·    Familiarity with Sap.

·    Familiarity with IFRS (strong plus).

·    Familiarity with MyData (strong plus).
