Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of EASO, an agency of European Union, acting as the centre of expertise of asylum, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position in Athens:


Information and Communication Officer


Job description



The interim will work under the supervision of EASO in performing some or all of the following tasks:



• Work as part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team in the EASO Athens Office;
• In close cooperation with the Greece management team & PMO colleagues, design, promote implement and monitor the internal communication guidelines and workflows;
• Design, develop and disseminate approved communication and visibility products, including presentations, factsheets, 2-pagers, visibility materials and other tools, in line with EASO visual identity requirements;
• Contribute to researching, writing and editing content for internal and external distribution, including internal and external newsletter, intranet and internet pages, social media, photos and videos;
• Under the supervision of the PMO coordinator, ensure continued liaison and coordination with the EASO HQ, and provide innovative content for communication products;
• Cooperate with PMO colleagues to determine how to best share knowledge and information to both internal and external stakeholders/audiences, including print and electronic materials;
• Cooperate with PMO colleagues to establish, organize and coordinate internal and external briefings and workshops;
• Participate in information sharing and training of colleagues on communication matters;
• Help create a culture of sharing information internally;
• In cooperation with colleagues at the field and other teams, research and retrieve information;
• Contribute to design, develop and conduct surveys;
• Contribute to the organization of meetings and events, including by delivering presentations and performing administrative tasks as needed;
• Contribute on an ad hoc basis to the work of PMO colleagues according to needs, including managing administrative and support tasks;
• Participate in internal and external meetings;
• Provide support in the design, draft and circulation of analytical and statistical reports on the activities implemented, including challenges and lessons learned;
• Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Candidates Profile


• University degree in the related area – preferred and advantageous;
• Demonstrated previous experience in the conceptualisation and development of communications tools and products;
• Understanding of the Greek migration and reception context;
• Fluency in Greek and in English (oral and written);
• Computer literate, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web- based applications;
• Competent use of relevant graphic design software;
• Excellent intercultural/interdisciplinary communication skills;
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
