The Material Planner is responsible to:

• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to optimize master data processes
• Manage material master data in SAP and oversee related workflows
• Take initiative to resolve issues and develop solutions when problems arise
• Develop and coordinate optimization concepts
• Act as a key user for master data systems and processes
• Specialize in local promotional items, packaging materials, recycling reports, product lifecycle, and discontinuation
• Organize packaging and work-order processes for assigned products with embedded and external subcontractors
• Issue purchase orders as necessary for packaging and work-over activities
• Ensure production runs on schedule and meets quality standards
• Communicate delays and bottlenecks to relevant teams and take corrective actions
• Conduct tenders for value-added services (VAS) and packaging materials in collaboration with procurement
• Initiate necessary measures for assigned product groups in consultation with superiors and partners
• Lead and support the implementation of new processes related to VAS planning within projects
• Monthly KPIs

The ideal candidate for the Material Planner position should have:

• Degree in relevant field
• Fluency in English and Greek, both in oral and written communication
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• SAP knowledge (Logistics, Production, MD modules)
• 1-3 years in similar position (preferably in FMCG sector)
• Master degree, will be considered a plus
• Analytical skills
