Deskside Support Personnel
Job Description
• Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals
• Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software
• Troubleshooting networking and connection issues (in person & remotely)
• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
• Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
• Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
• Guide users with simple step by step instructions
• Customize desktop application to meet client needs
• Record technical solutions of issues in logs
• Report customer feedback and potential product requests
• Follow up with clients to ensure proper system functioning
• Help create technical documentation and manuals
• Travel within customer sites in Athens
Απαραίτητα Προσόντα
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
• Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar roles
• Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals (printers, scanners etc.)
• Knowledge on network security practices and anti-virus programs
• Knowledge on replacing components in desktop and laptop computers
• Knowledge on popular operating systems and software applications
• Excellent use of English language
• Excellent soft-skills and professional outlook
