Role Description
The Front Office Manager manages all aspects of the front office department.
The Front Office Manager provides leadership and support to all members of the Front Office implementing and enforcing the O&B employee standards in all areas supervised.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor activities of all team members in the Front Office department
- Visible in the front of the house during high traffic times to assist the front desk team and to ensure smooth guest service
- Dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise
- Ensure that all team members clearly understand their job roles and responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate training for all team members, prepare work schedules, and compile feedback reports accordingly
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to improve guest services and foster cross departmental communication
- Hold monthly department meetings keeping staff informed of all activities in the hotel
- Be aware and able to enforce all health and safety procedures.Remain current in all updates with regards to new procedures and training
