Procurement Supervisor

For our new luxury Ikos Aria resort in Kos.

Some of your main accountabilities:

• Research and evaluate food products (meat, poultry, fish etc.), regarding local market suppliers.
• Supervise monthly inventories
• Ensures and monitors contracts performance is based on agreements in cooperation with storekeepers.
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to Equipment suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
• Evaluate F&B vendors at the end of the operating period on pricing agreement, deliveries based on laws and regulations, cooperation with company
• Compare grocery product prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential vendors

To succeed in your role, you will need to have:

• Up to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• Local candidate is preferred but not mandatory
• Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written)
• Strong leadership capabilities
