E-Commerce Executive (Ref: TH/ECA022)

Office Location: Halkidiki/Thessaloniki, Greece
Department: Sales & Marketing
Contract: Full time / Permanent

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in all online activities, design, build and monitor SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and PPC activities across core and other markets
  • Ensure smooth operation of online sales. Accurate pricing and offers loading
  • Support the e-commerce presence on various distribution channels (such as “Booking.com” and “Expedia”)
  • Use of the CMS to keep the website design and content up to date
  • Assist the central reservations with online pricing and booking queries
  • Daily control of the budget and invoicing
  • Daily use of the online booking system for pricing and offers loading & monitoring availability.

Main responsibilities

  • Communicate on a regular basis with external partners (booking.com, Expedia etc.) to ensure proper online presence. Keep pricing accurate and up to date
  • Manage the website content daily in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Oversee digital campaigns on all channels (Google Ads, Facebook, programmatic etc.) and work towards optimization with external partners
  • Support daily the Sales and the CRS teams to ensure that online availability and prices are accurate (apply stop sales, upload offers, EBD etc.)
  • Handle the online presence of all new and existing Ikos/Sani properties, on all channels (Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia etc.)
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports about the e-Commerce department’s activities.
  • Support team members’ activities on digital channels (i.e. manage availability Destimo TUI for the German market)
  • Propose and implement new features on Ikos website, both in terms of design and functionality
  • Run competitive analysis for existing and new Ikos properties
  • Manage and ensure payment for all invoices related to the e-Commerce Department
  • Report directly to the Sani/Ikos Sales Director
  • Manage production (roomnights, revenue, reservations, ADR) statistics to maximize profits
  • Load rates, availability, promotions and content for each new season or/and property
  • Communicate on a regular basis with partners to maximize SEO efforts
  • Create customer profiles combining data from various sources (Google Analytics, SwapSystems etc.)
  • Plan for e-marketing expenses well in advance and develop a financial plan that will maximize their resources
  • Update forecasts and assist Hotel Managers to plan their budgets relevant to online expenses
  • Discover and present new opportunities to improve the online presence and sales
  • Ensure correct and smooth operation of flights/packages from and to all Ikos destinations
  • Manage newsletter mailbox and ensure all inquiries are handled by the relevant department
  • Manage all domains owned by the company
  • Test landing pages and campaigns to maximize conversions
  • Create and send all B2B newsletter campaigns
  • Help clients solve any issue regarding their online bookings
  • Communicate with website developers to ensure technical optimization of Ikos/Sani websites

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Your main qualifications/skills
  • Bachelor’ degree Digital Marketing or Business administration or Statistics or Data Science
  • 1-2 years’ experience in relative position, ideally in the luxury or tourism / hospitality industry
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
  • Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Opera)
  • Good command of a second language (German, French, Russian, Spanish) would be a plus
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
