ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a well-known group of companies specialized in the Energy sector is seeking for an experienced Commercial Manager.

                                                                        Commercial Manager (5172/CM/ESS/GR)

The Commercial Manager of this well-known group of companies specialized in the Energy sector, is required to ensure that all commercial aspects of the projects under his/hers remit are properly managed and controlled, and that the commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.
He/ She will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of financial plans /including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term.
  • Provide input for the Business Plan.
  • Managing budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements
  • Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts
  • Supporting the Sales, Marketing, back Office and after sales department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities
  • Preparing models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities
  • Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise
  • Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth
  • Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients
  • Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts
  • Identify improvements to commercial procedures
  • Review all commercial plans to deliver maximum margin
  • Develop and expand the commercial knowledge of the commercial team
  • Carry out recruitment and selection of Commercial team, aid assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attain their maximum potential
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, or Economics
  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
  • Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong experience in Sales Managerial positions preferably in gas/ electricity/ telecoms industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Advanced software skills, including Excel and an ERP software
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
