CEO - Renewable Energy Management (5525/CEO/ESS/GR)


Role Overview:

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking Group of companies committed to sustainability and innovation, revolutionizing industries, and setting new standards for environmental stewardship.

Their subsidiary, the Energy arm of the Group, is a rapidly growing entity specializing in managing solar and wind parks and are seeking a CEO to drive strategic decisions and guide the teams toward advancements in the energy sector.

As CEO, you will leverage your deep understanding of the Greek Energy market's intricacies and possess comprehensive knowledge of industry priorities. Your primary objective will be to provide strategic guidance to the team and advise the Group on innovative business strategies, emphasizing growth and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
• Provide expert guidance on Energy industry trends and market dynamics.
• Identify new business opportunities and initiatives that align with energy industry trends and company goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and investors, to drive initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental best practices and industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership/senior executive role in the energy sector, with a focus on renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of the energy landscape in Greece including regulatory frameworks, future market trends, and investment opportunities.
• Solid strategic planning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
• Hands on attitude, necessary to manage a relatively small but emerging and evolving company.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
