This is a full-time on-site role located in Níkaia - Athens for a Web Designer.
The Web Designer will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and develop design concepts. Additionally, the Web Designer will use their knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement these designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand website requirements and objectives
- Design and develop websites using WordPress, Shopify ensuring responsiveness and optimal UX
- Modify website templates to meet specific project needs
- Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for web content - Social Media
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design and WordPress - Shopify development
Qualifications:
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-friendly development
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles
- Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English
- Strong Writing and Verbal
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Website Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects
- Proficiency in WordPress - Shopify development and customization (ability to use Elementor, Divi would be highly desirable)
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS (a base knowledge of JavaScript would be highly desirable)
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Affinity Creative Suite
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
