Omya Hellas offers a great career opportunity for an enthusiastic self-driven individual to be a part of a team by taking the role of Logistic responsible (for import goods) in Sindos.
Key Responsibilities :
- Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
- Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
- Plan and track the shipments of products according to customer requirements
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders
- Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timeliness and productivity
- Manage relationships with all logistics partners in terms of accuracy, efficiency and service level
- Preparing the logistic analyses and proposing the most cost-effective way of working
- Supplier’s complaints handling regarding transportation and logistics
- Active monitoring and managing the customer service level of the logistics partners
- Monthly Reporting: Logistic and inventory KPI’s / Export-import statistics
Education: University degree preferably in Logistics or Business field
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in logistics and customer service
Knowledge and skills:
- Strong Logistics background (Import procedures, Incoterms, Inventory Management)
- Advanced MS - Office user
- ERP (SAP/ Entersoft ) & WMS experience
- Fluency in English (Verbal & Written)
- Organization and Negotiation skills
