Senior Financial Officer

LMW is seeking for a dynamic Senior Financial Officer, to join a leading company providing postal services in Greece and abroad.

The candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Compare and reconcile the group’s bank statements with its intra-group financial records
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, such as missing transactions or errors
• Maintain detailed and organized records of reconciliation activities
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and operations, to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles for all group’s companies
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for reconciled accounts
• Work closely with external auditing company to address any concerns or questions
• Prepare monthly and yearly management reports to the Chief Financial Officer
• Monitor and control the group’s cash flow
• Participate in annual budgeting and financial planning by providing allocation and expense projections
• Ensure the financial integrity of departmental, grant, and designated budgets by monitoring balances and expenditures

• 7+ years of proven professional experience in finance departments
• BA/MSc in Accounting or Finance is required
• Experienced in intra-group transactions
• Demonstrated experience and skills with budget preparation and analysis, financial reporting preparation and presentation and the proven ability to translate technical financial data into informative reports
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel
• Excellent oral and written English skills
