Operations Assistant | Global Maritime Operations

Diaplous Group, a global leader in Maritime Risk Management (MRM), is expanding its Operations Team. We are looking for a vigilant and organized professional to join the nerve center of our global activities.

The Role:

As an Operations Assistant, you will report directly to the Operation Manager and Chief Operations Officer (COO). You will work closely with the training, crew, and commercial departments to ensure that every mission is monitored, supported, and executed to the highest standard.

• ​Higher University Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Maritime, Security, Sea Studies, or similar).
• Very good command of the English language (written and oral) is mandatory.
• Operational Monitoring: Oversee the day-to-day organization and monitoring of ongoing security operations, ensuring vessel safety and mission compliance.
• Global Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with port agents, security providers, and external partners to facilitate smooth logistics and transit execution.
• Data & Intelligence: Synthesize and combine information from various sources to provide a clear operational picture to management.
• Reporting & Evaluation: Prepare detailed operational reports and evaluations, ensuring all incidents and routine updates are documented accurately.
• Performance Tracking: Maintain and update records of specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a daily and weekly basis.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Collaborate with Crew and Commercial teams to align operational realities with client expectations.
• 24/7 Shift Operations: Work on a rotating shift schedule to guarantee uninterrupted oversight of client vessels and security teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping or a similar field.
• Fluency in English (both written and oral) is non-negotiable.
• Strong Computer Literacy and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
• Availability to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
• (Preferred) Working experience in Maritime services or Shipping will be considered a strong asset.
