Logistics Specialist

A a major multinational retailer is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join their team.

As a Logistics Specialist (m/f) your main responsibilities will be:

• Coordinate clearance and shipments, resolve delays with UK Logistics and customs brokers, and ensure regulatory compliance. 
• Schedule store, promotional, and seasonal stock deliveries while optimizing product positioning.
• Track provider performance against SLAs/KPIs, resolve service issues, and support contract reviews. 
• Track expenditure against budget, validate freight/logistics invoices, and assist with accruals and cost forecasting. 
• Resolve physical and system inventory discrepancies across stores, transit, and warehouses. 
• Maintain operational KPI reports and assist with supply chain process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate (m/f) for the position will have:

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, imports, warehousing, or retail. 
• Practical experience working with 3PLs, customs brokers, and logistics invoice validation will be a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP, Excel, and warehouse management systems (WMS). 
• Good written and spoken English skills for international operational communication.
