About the job
A reliable
and safe machine park is essential for this role. You will ensure the machines
remain in top condition, so colleagues can perform their work without worry and
production can run smoothly. In doing so, you contribute not only to the
continuity of our organization but also to the safety and job satisfaction of
your colleagues.
Together
with four direct colleagues, you will be responsible for all maintenance and
technical support activities. It’s a challenging role, but with your
craftsmanship and expertise, we have full confidence in you. Thanks to your
regular inspections and sharp eye, you create peace of mind and reliability
within the organization: everyone knows the machines are in good hands with
you.
When we
asked one of your future colleagues (also a maintenance technician) what makes
working as an Allround Maintenance Technician for our client
so special, the answer came quickly. First of all, you get to tell everyone
that you work with high-quality and sustainable machines. In addition, you are
constantly working on the development and improvement of these machines. This,
combined with a great deal of freedom within your role, allows you to make an
important contribution to our organization every single day.
In this
role, you are an indispensable link within our “production house.” As an
Allround Maintenance Technician, you are a cornerstone of production.
Production employees depend on well-functioning and safe machines—and you
ensure that. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance of the machine
park, resolving malfunctions effectively, and using your technical expertise to
participate in development and improvement projects to prepare the machine park
for the future.
Your concrete tasks will include:
- Performing planned preventive
maintenance on machines;
- Carrying out general
maintenance on machines;
- Identifying, diagnosing, and
resolving machine-related malfunctions within various production
processes;
- Working in day shifts, with an
on-call rotation schedule for handling issues outside office hours;
- Participating in development
and improvement projects;
- Working in accordance with
environmental and safety standards;
- Proactively suggesting
improvements based on technical expertise;
- Implementing approved
improvements and other modifications.
We are
looking for an all-rounder, a go-getter, and someone who is flexible in their
approach. You can easily switch between different tasks while keeping an
overview. You are independent but not an individualist—you enjoy working in a
team. Taking initiative to improve processes or tasks is encouraged, and you
will be trusted to do so. We value proactive thinking about your work and
learning from your activities. Technical insight is therefore essential.
You will
encounter quality-related issues, but that doesn’t faze you. You are the
specialist who brings decisiveness and expertise to the table. A touch of
perfectionism is welcome; you immediately spot when something is off and act
accordingly.
In addition, we ask for:
- electrical background, possibly
supplemented with mechanical engineering education and/or experience;
- Proven experience in
maintenance and projects;
- Knowledge of plastics
processing is a plus;
Can you
keep your cool in all situations and always think in terms of solutions? Then we have an excellent opportunity for you.
