Marketing & Communications Manager

About the role:
The primary role of the Marketing & Communications Manager is to assist in the development and execution of Marketing and Communications strategy, to the end of driving brand awareness, revenue maximization, achieving new customer acquisition, database expansion, and ROI/ROAS growth.
Key accountabilities:
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Execute Digital Marketing and Communications strategy for set social media channels
- Supervise hotels’ social media channels, creating relevant and engaging content to amplify brand’s key messages and increase engagement,
- Conceptualize and manage Google SEM and paid social campaigns, Meta Search, direct marketing initiatives
- Monitor campaign implementation, performance, and optimization
- Ensure all marketing efforts align with strategy, are consistent with brand image and hotel positioning, and comply with brand policies and guidelines
Content Creation & Management
- Drive brand storytelling, visual and written
- Visualize Marketing and Communications strategy; convert to content (photo, video, copy)
- Orchestrate and supervise production of photo and video content
- Write and proofread copy
- Coordinate and execute design and production of all marketing material, including collateral, direct mail, advertising, press releases, presentations, guest correspondence and more; work closely with external partners (creative agencies, designers, printing houses etc.)
- Manage presence and content across all communication channels, including brand website, owned media and third-party platforms
- Ensure all content is aligned with strategy, is consistent with brand image and hotel positioning, and complies with brand policies and guidelines
Public Relations
- Identify public relations opportunities and coordinate activities to augment overall marketing communication strategy.
- Evaluate media and influencer requests; organize media and influencer stays; prepare itineraries
- Manage relationships with external partners
- Monitor own and competitor media coverage; share newsworthy stories to maximize opportunities for exposure
- Play a key role in reputation management; involved in the management of online reviews responses
- Act as hotels’ brand ambassador; conduct site inspections for visiting media and influencers
Leadership
- Manage and oversee Marketing Team
- Assist in the allocation of budget for all Marketing and Communications campaigns and programs
- Report to the Director of Marketing & Communications
