Position Summary:
The University of Limassol (UoL) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Recruitment Counselor (Greece and EU market). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the university's regional presence by effectively recruiting prospective students from Greece and other European Union (EU) countries. This role involves building relationships, providing information and guidance, and representing UoL at various recruitment events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Recruitment:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates from Greece and EU countries.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with schools, educational institutions, and key stakeholders to promote UoL programs.
- Travel within the region to attend recruitment fairs, conferences, and school visits to engage with prospective students and their families.
- Advisory Services:
- Provide comprehensive guidance and support to prospective students, assisting them throughout the application and enrollment process.
- Conduct individual and group information sessions to educate students about UoL's academic programs, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Market Research:
- Stay informed about the education landscape in Greece and EU countries, including market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities and challenges in the region and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with UoL admissions, marketing, and academic departments to ensure a cohesive approach to recruitment.
- Work closely with international partners and agencies to maximize recruitment efforts.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and student interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field – Marketing, Communications, Business (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, or educational counselling will be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge of the Greek and EU education systems, admission procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Greece and EU countries.
- Proficiency in English and Greek.
- Excellent organizational and data analysis skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a commitment to meeting targets.
