Job Role : The Childcare Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our youngest guests have a memorable and delightful stay. This position demands a deep-seated enthusiasm for crafting enchanting moments for children and families alongside problem-solving skills and multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and Engage:
- Discuss upcoming activities and promote discussion and brainstorming with the team members.
- Greet and welcome little guests and their families upon arrival.
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere, ensuring a positive first impression for young visitors.
Activity Planning:
- Plan and coordinate a variety of activities for children within the hotel venue.
- Prepare materials for creative activities.
- Plan and coordinate a variety of outdoor games.
- Plan and execute memorable events for children, including birthday parties and themed gatherings.
- Encourage children to be part of our fun team.
Education and Entertainment:
- Collaborate with educational programs and entertainers to provide enriching experiences for young guests.
- Create a safe environment for our little guests. Select entrainment options with high-level safety.
- Implement safety protocols to create a secure environment for little guests.
- Train staff on child safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
Communication:
- Cultivate an environment of clarity in interaction with parents and our little guests. Encourage dialogue and ensure that parent’s viewpoints are totally understood.
- Act as a liaison between the hotel and families to address any concerns or special requests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Childcare or education-related certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Understanding of child safety and child-friendly service standards.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
- Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage work load using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multi task position.
- Availability to work in shifts
