Are you an inspired Mechanical and Electrical Chief Technician with experience in troubleshooting and overseeing a team?
Randstad on behalf of THEMA S.A. the Operation and Maintenance Company managing the Thessaloniki Metro Network, is looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Chief Technician based in Thessaloniki.
The
Mechanical and Electrical Chief Technician will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance activities autonomously in the designated area
- Ensure strict adherence to technical, safety, and quality procedures during assigned activities
- Report on completed activities in the Maintenance Management System (e.g. SAP) and communicate progress to the Head of the department
- Develop team competence in collaboration with the nearest manager
- Train new team members
- Assist the Head of the department in budgeting activities
- Make sure the technical structure is updated in SAP
- Continuously optimize processes in the assigned area and collaborate with the nearest manager for overall improvement
For the Mechanical and Εlectrical Chief Technician role, you need to have:
- Relevant technical qualification (electronics, electrician, mechanic)
- Minimum 5 years experience after completion of apprenticeship/training
- Demonstrated expertise in technical-related tasks, including troubleshooting electronics components and reading wiring diagrams within the designated area
- Preferably experienced in one or more of the following areas: Lighting, earthing, and Low voltage systems; UPS; ABA and fire-fighting systems; A/C and HVAC; BACS (Building Automation Control System); Pump systems
- Proficient in IT, including Windows, Microsoft Office, SAP, or similar systems
- Great oral and written English skills
- Driver license category B
- Αvailability to work flexible hours, primarily during night shifts
