Food and Beverage Manager

candidate will be working at our premises in Thessaloniki
Position Summary
The Food and Beverage Manager will have to lead
and motivate all food and beverage teams ensuring consistency and high
standards of customer service across the Resort. This
position allows for great growth and development within the Resort. The main
objective is to maximize sales and revenue through customer
satisfaction and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish targets, KPI’s,
schedules, policies and procedures according to corporate standards, develop
plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Monitor F&B costs and
recommend measures to control them when needed
- Work with Food and Beverage
leadership team and Service Manager to determine areas of concern and develop
strategies to improve the department's financial performance
- Ensure that all departmental
project milestones are met and adhering to the approved budgets
- Prepare daily, weekly and
monthly revenue and productivity reports for management information and improve
the profitability of all F&B outlets
- Conduct audits in Food and
Beverage departments to ensure proper recording of revenue
- Participate in menu design
preparations, food tasting, costing and implementation of menus and wine lists
- Prepare the weekly work
schedule of all Food and Beverage Department employees
- Participate in the training of
employees, identify and analyze training needs and perform appraisals
- Ensure the smooth operation of
all Food and Beverage outlets; handle operational problems
- Preserve excellent levels of
customer service; respond to all guest requests / complaints
- Prepare reports for management
information and improve the profitability of all F&B outlets
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Hotel
Management
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience
as a Food & Beverage Manager preferable within a 5* Luxury Hotel
- Excellent knowledge of English language; a second language (German of
Russian) will be considered as a plus
- Computer literacy (Excel and
Fidelio) and experience in financial systems (Entersoft, Micros Pos and
Twinsoft)
- Outstanding communication
abilities, strong leadership, stress management and financial skills
(budgeting, forecasting)
- Pleasant personality with
enviable customer service skills, passionate about the job and focused on
providing high quality results
