Department: Finance
Location: Office based in Thessaloniki (regular traveling to Halkidiki during operational season)

Role & Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and forecasts and continuously monitor the performance against them to enable robust and proactive reporting of variances to the BoD and third party stakeholders
• Prepare and publish timely monthly managerial accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), review revenue streams and cost structures implementing the accruals concept, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure managerial accounts reconcile to nominal ledger and statutory accounts
• Focus on Business Partnering, act as Business Advisor, understand the needs of multiple directors and divisions, provide insight and robust challenge to support decision making and create value to the business
  
• Monitor and analyze variances of actual results vs budget on a monthly basis, controlling the correct classification of accounts and cost centers, identifying trends and suggesting corrective actions when necessary
• Active management of overheads and analysis of revenues and expenses whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies for savings
• Ensure accuracy, quality control and integrity of financial transactions and reporting
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls by having close collaboration with Accounting, Treasury and Data Analytics teams
• Additional controller duties as necessary, provide regular and ad hoc analysis and financial reports according to management’s requirements

• University Degree in Finance or Accounting –a Master's degree will be considered an asset
• 3 - 5 years of working experience in Financial Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis or Auditing
• Working experience in the Hotel sector or multinational company will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of the English language
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, experienced with ERP systems, Entersoft would be desirable
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
