Operations Assistant - Asylum

Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of EASO, an agency of European Union, acting as the centre of expertise of asylum, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position: Operations Assistant - Asylum.

Job Description
• Provide information to applicants for international protection as per GAS and EASO guidelines;
• When appointed, support the operation of the EASO hotline responding to and recording various requests as per GAS and EASO guidelines;
• Support the organisation of the flow of applicants within the context of asylum processes, including information provision;
• Keep databases, compile daily and weekly statistics and reports, provide inputs for briefing requests, state of play of operations;
• Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
• Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.

• University degree – preferred and advantageous;
• Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be an advantage;
• Very good understanding of the Greek migration and asylum context will be an advantage;
• Fluency in Greek and in English (oral and written);
• Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web based applications;
• Very good intercultural communication skills.
